I like her to think she is an orphan. Then she has no power. So, she still hides. So she cuts out pieces of herself and doesn’t have it together. Her connections are deep. A lot has to be discovered. She wants to throw away her upbringing. (Reference at the very least to the fundamentalist religion with which she was raised.)
